In James 1:13–18, we learn that temptation doesn’t come from God, it starts with our own desires and can lead us into sin and destruction if we’re not careful. Like a fish avoiding a hook, we must recognize and resist the bait of temptation, set boundaries, and stay close to the Father, who offers only good and perfect gifts.
